The fundamental difference between therapy and Life Coaching is that a coach’s job is to meet you where you are and help you move forward to get where you want to be. Traditional therapy begins where you are and goes back into your story to help heal the past. In Coaching, the goal is to always move forward! In order to move forward, it is sometimes necessary to look back into the past. However, in Coaching, we never stay in the past for long and are always working towards your present goal(s).
